The Blake at Lafayette Hires New Executive Chef

LAFAYETTE, LA (March 21, 2016) – Gregory Doucet, former executive chef of Jolie’s Louisiana Bistro has joined the team at The Blake as their new Executive Chef. Set to open later this spring. The Blake at Lafayette is poised to offer a new option in senior living for the Lafayette community that will extend to their dining services, as well.

Shelling Peas at Our Monthly Food Meeting

This was a great activity. Just something to do while we had our monthly food meeting with the residents. They know what’s in season! Conversation was really upbeat that day, I think because shelling peas was a bridge/connection.
