Kingsport, TENNESSEE (January 12, 2017) – Coming to the foothills of The Blue Ridge Mountains, Quality Senior Living, LLC (QSL), Elcan Associates Inc., along with Blake Management Group proudly introduce “The Blake at Kingsport”, a premier senior living community.
Kingsport Mayor John Clark states, “The Board of Mayor and Alderman is very excited about the Blake at Kingsport senior living community development! We thank the Elcan and Associates developers for their significant investment in Kingsport to improve the quality of life for our senior citizens who deserve the very best life has to offer. The new first class facility and amenities along with 70 full-time employees will be another wonderful destination city asset to retain and attract residents to Kingsport!”
The Blake at Kingsport will be located at 915 Holston Hills Drive. This area is known for an abundance of shopping, dining and medical service options. Glenn Barclay, COO for Blake Management reveals, “The Blake features a full continuum of services in richly appointed Assisted Living and Memory Care residences. All of those options will be housed within one resort-style community. If needs change, the people who live here stay here. I am proud to bring a new tradition in senior living to Kingsport.”
When fully occupied, The Blake anticipates creating 70 full and part-time jobs and will become an integral part of the Kingsport community. Arrive Architecture Group based in Dallas, Texas is providing architectural design. The Blake at Kingsport, LLC is applying for a TIF in support of full build out of the facility.
The Blake will offer a vibrant active lifestyle for individuals who are fully independent, but want an easier lifestyle; as well as offering care and support to individuals that need an additional level of care. “We take care of the details, so our residents can enjoy the finer things in life” says Barclay.
Options for Assisted Living residences include one-bedroom residences as well as two bedroom, two bath residences with full kitchen, walk-in closets, and a balcony or porch. Memory Care options include studio and one bedroom residences with walk-in closets. “Pricing will be based on service needs and apartment selection, but will be affordable and competitive with other options in the area. There is no “buy in” fee, and Assisted Living monthly rates start as low as $2,700,” says Barclay.
Along with luxury accommodations, The Blake at Kingsport will provide elegant dining options, concierge service, 24-hour nurse staffing, and an active social program. Other amenities will include a full-service bar and lounge, a coffee shop and ice cream parlor, salon & spa services, onsite therapy, a fitness center, a sunlit chapel, putting greens and outdoor activity courts, a theater room, activity rooms, courtyards with an outdoor fire pavilion, fountains and raised gardens, a business center, library, indoor/outdoor dining, transportation, and on-site parking.
