Today’s Special: Former Executive Chef at Google Leads Dining Team at Local Senior Living Community


Bossier City, LA – Master of making exciting flavors with wholesome nutrition, Chef Darin Leonardson leads Culinary Operations for the Blake Management Group.  With 25 years of experience in the hospitality market, Leonardson has transformed the landscape of senior living cuisine at The Blake.

Not only is his talent in culinary arts a nod to his success, but his experience in this industry is equally impressive. Leonardson is a former Executive Chef at Google.  He spent four years at Google managing more than 60 employees and operated the kitchens in five different buildings across the campus. As the company grew, he designed two offsite commercial kitchens and three separate catering vehicles to service every location with food.  He has worked at a variety of restaurants including Toi, The Bellevue Club Hotel and Elliot’s Oyster House in Seattle.  He was also a celebrity guest chef for Holland America’s cruise line, serving on various voyages to the Caribbean, Amsterdam and South America.

Leonardson oversees the dining department at The Blake at Bossier City and ensures that all processes there keep to the highest standard.  The Blake at Bossier City offers a total of 119 apartments for seniors: 71 for assisted living and 48 for Memory Care residents. The community operates like a five-star resort for your loved ones. There is a concierge, bar and lounge, ice cream parlor and coffee shop.
