Peter Palisi

Chef Peter went to Culinary school at Walt Disney World for three years, while also working full time. He graduated as a Certified Culinarian.

Chef Peter spent 10 years working at various properties throughout Disney and after leaving in 1999,  went to work at Lansdowne Conference and Gold Resort in Leesburg, Va. Peter was the Room Chef for the 3-star, white-tablecloth steakhouse, where he achieved a 96% guest satisfaction rating.

 

He moved throughout the property in Garde Manger, CFP Restaurant and finished as the Banquet Chef. After three years, he moved to Mississippi to open the Golden Moon Hotel & Casino, running the Steakhouse. With the help of his team, they became the number one restaurant out of 12 others in the area within 6 months of opening. He was promoted to Assistant Executive Sous Chef, helping run all 12 restaurants and 2 banquet departments. Peter has competed in several culinary competitions through the ACF, winning 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals.

 

He has been married to a wonderful woman, Erika, for 27 years. They have 4 children: Nevia, Mary, Peter, and Erin. They have 5 grandchildren: Teya, Anora, Emilia, Parker and Mari. Peter loves bowling, golf, fishing, hunting, spending time with his grandchildren and going to nice restaurants to eat.
