Victor Smith

Victor Smith has been an employee with The Blake at Township since its inception in 2010. He brings 22 years of experience in healthcare to The Blake, 17 of those years with an emphasis on managing dementia care units.

Alex Kelly

Alex Kelly grew up outside Jackson, Mississippi, in Flowood, where she still lives today. Her undergraduate studies were at the University of Mississippi in social work.

Director of Activities

Gayle Kramer

Gayle Kramer is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, where she studied art at the University of Memphis. Her art career of more than 30 years began by teaching children’s art during the summer at the university. She later began writing and illustrating for Simon & Schuster’s elementary educational division along with freelancing for clients and miscellaneous projects.

Katina Taylor

Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Katina Taylor is a graduate of Amite County High School in Liberty, Mississippi. She has been an employee of The Blake at Township since April of 2017. She has more than 10 years of experience working with seniors as a CNA in nursing homes as well as over 10 years of customer service experience with the City of Jackson.

Director of Wellness

Ida Cline Harris

Ida Cline, RN, brings 34 years of nursing experience to The Blake at Township. Ida has a specialty in acute and long-term geriatric care with an emphasis in psychiatric care, wound care and nursing the terminally ill. She has eight years of experience as director of nursing in long-term care.

Director of Dining Services

Kimberli Barnes

Kimberli Barnes is a native of Madison, Mississippi, where she graduated from Madison Central High School. Her undergraduate studies were at Holmes Community College in Ridgeland, Mississippi, where she studied business administration with a minor in accounting.

Director of Facilities

Christoph Klett

Christoph Klett, director of facilities, was born in Braunschweig, Germany. He earned a baccalaureate degree from Theodor Heuss Gymnasium in Heilbronn, Germany, as well as various degrees from the University of Heidelberg in Germany including a pharmacy degree, a Ph.D. in pharmacology and toxicology, an M.D. in clinical and experimental pharmacology and a habilitation for a professorship in pharmacology and toxicology.

Memory Care Coordinator

Angela Hammer

A native Mississippian from Rankin County, Angela Hammer is a graduate of Pearl High School and Mississippi College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in psychology.
