Angel Tolentino

Angel Tolentino was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the United States at the age of five. He lived in Queens, New York for 20 years and then moved upstate.

Angel graduated from SUNY Schenectady County Community College and built his experience at Cornell’s Fine Dining Italian restaurant, The Times Union Center Events Kitchen, Lillian’s Steakhouse and many other renowned dining establishments and even opened his own café in New York named Tesero’s. His favorite part of senior living is becoming part of the lives of each resident by bringing them smiles with food, activities and events. He loves interacting and getting to know them personally and making their stay at The Blake a memorable one.

Angel’s favorite thing about The Blake is the team. The management staff is amazing, caring, vibrant and goal-oriented and makes The Blake a fun place to work. Angel’s dining staff are also a large reason why he loves working for The Blake, as he looks forward to working with them every day.

When he isn’t at The Blake, you can find Angel fishing, bowling, playing pool, gardening, reading, being outdoors or barbecuing with his friends. Angel also enjoys sports, especially the Atlanta Braves, Charlotte Hornets, New York Jets, New York Mets and the New York Yankees. He also loves spending time in Florida with his family and going to parks and live, outdoor events with them.
